The Technical Solutions team provides top tier technical consultation and support to Yahoo’s premium advertisers and technology partners.
Our team is responsible for successfully integrating technology partners across multiple platforms including search, display, native, and real-time bidding technologies. These integrations provide the foundation for our ability to drive critical sales initiatives and optimization tactics at scale, which directly contribute to Yahoo’s success. As an integral part of the Yahoo Client Services organization, the Partner Management team is responsible for maintaining and growing Yahoo’s relationships with leading Search, Display, and Native advertising technology partners.

You will play an important role integrating Yahoo’s largest advertisers, agencies, and technology partners to seamlessly integrate with our search, display and native advertising platforms. You should be familiar with digital marketing and online advertising. You’re a great mix of tech-heavy and people-focused. You’ll roll up your sleeves and pitch in without being asked, including getting the next round.
Your Day
• Expertly handle platform escalations/questions from assigned partners
• Run SQL queries, leverage toolkits (Fiddler/Postman/SoapUI/Firebug) to investigate technical issues.
• Keep pace with the latest platform features and evangelize best practices to partners
• Analyze partner integrations and identify issues or opportunities, recommending technical workflows and best practices where necessary
• Lead ongoing technical analysis and partner performance reporting for executive management.
• Understand business needs, priorities and overarching sales organization goals and translate to API partner workflows, feature adoption
• Provide ongoing support of optimization best practices catered to search and display API partners
• Engage with Yahoo product teams cross-functionally to advocate feature requests and product enhancements on behalf of our technology partners.
• Support technical aspects of optimization best practicesacross sales organizations including executive leadership, cross functional teams and frontline sales teams
You Must Have
• Technology-related BA/BS degree or demonstrated equivalent experience required
• Minimum of five years of professional experience working with complex software systems as a developer, systems analyst, or project manager
• Extensive knowledge and experience with enterprise-level software systems integration and deployment
• Knowledge of web-based advertising business models and industry trends
• Web systems/software experience is required, including a working knowledge of Internet-based APIs, XML, REST, JSON, SOAP, OAuth 2.0
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written, effectively working in a fast-paced, energetic team sales environment
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
• Computer skills including solid knowledge of email, spreadsheets (MS Excel), word processing (MS Word), MS Project, Visio.
• Ability to quickly learn new complex, technical concepts and applications
• Solid commitment to sales and customer service with good initiative and follow-through
• Ability to comfortably interact with all levels of an organization
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• An entrepreneurial spirit, change the game, is a self starter, and thinks outside of the box
