HarperCollins Christian Publishing is in search of an Marketing Coordinator for their ChurchSource/Curriculum division. The Marketing Coordinator is the key support person for the ChurchSource and Curriculum team, assisting with a wide range of operational and administrative tasks that allow the marketing and sales teams to focus on revenue-generating activities.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator include but are not limited to:
Essential Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing and Tracking
• Code, process, and track invoices weekly, and ensure 100% on-time payment of all invoices
• Track insertion orders and marketing commitments against budget
• Maintain spreadsheets of marketing commitments and paid invoices, with departmental breakouts and invoice status and details
• Assist with processing approval forms and statement of work documents for vendor and freelancer projects
Sample Fulfillment & Lead Management
• Fulfill sample and catalog requests weekly
• Import or manually enter new leads into CRM weekly
• Assist with creation of materials for sample fulfillment and lead management, including printing and folding materials, applying labels to boxes, etc.
Reports
• Maintain weekly and month-end reports to track social media activity, advertising campaigns, sales funnels, video views, and marketing spending
• Distribute updated reports weekly to marketing, sales, and publishing teams
• Assist with updating marketing schedule for new curriculum releases and ensure team is aware of tasks and deadlines
Retail Support
• Create and maintain landing pages on Amazon Marketing Services & Vendor Central for curriculum products
• Execute strategic promotional campaigns for curriculum with Amazon, ChristianBook.com, and other key curriculum retailers
• Coordinate retail events related to curriculum (pastor breakfasts, church book fairs, book signings, etc.)
Video
• Post curriculum videos on YouTube and Vimeo in advance of curriculum launch date
• Add tags, links, and buying options to videos as needed
• Providing marketing schedule and video links to PPC vendor
Operational Support
• Assist with data clean-up in Microsoft Dynamics CRM
• Update mailing list for compliance with do not mail requests
• Assist with website merchandising, pricing, and product tagging
• Schedule team meetings and take notes during meetings
• Document and distribute team discussion and decisions
• Proofread ChurchSource catalogs, emails, and web copy to correct typos and inaccuracies
• Upload and create links for online version of ChurchSource catalogs
• Assist with product ordering, POS setup, and coordination of marketing materials for conferences and trade shows
• Other responsibilities and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Desired candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, education and skills:
Work Experience/Knowledge:
• 1-3 years in a marketing support or operations role
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Familiarity with marketing analytics, with preferred experience in using Google Analytics
Education:
• Bachelor's in business, marketing, or related field
Industry Knowledge:
• Familiarity with the publishing industry and/or Christian product preferred
Skills:
• Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong time management skills and ability to set priorities
• Very detailed and thorough
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and solve problems
