I. Job Summary
| Major goals and objectives.
The Senior Director of Social Engagement, works closely with the VP and Executive Director of Social and the Social team to ensure that all account and engagement strategies and tactics are being flawlessly delegated and executed across platform. The Senior Director serves as partner to the VP and Executive Director on the operations of the Social team, and as a strong day-to-day Engagement/Social Delivery resource over a large account or group of smaller accounts with cross-functional team oversight, etc.

Ensure that the team is providing “best in class” service to MXM clients and partner agencies – developing strong, strategic plans and engaging content, while providing seamless account oversight and project management, which consistently elevates our clients’ products/issues. All while building/fostering a communal relationship with interested consumers.

Guides Community Managers, Associates, and Supervisors within the group towards:
• Overseeing all day-to-day deliverables to ensure client expectations are met
• Understanding the overall mission, vision, goals, strategy and expectations from our clients
• Development of smart, strategic engagement plans
• Ideation and planning of content/editorial calendars across platform
• Ensuring landscape- and platform-specific data, insights and trends are reflected in our reporting
• Collaboration with the Account team to ensure that all landscape and platform activity is communicated and any issues are immediately escalated
• Adherence of best practices and Community/Platform specific protocols
• Ensuring all executions meet or exceed overall requirements and expectations of the contract, and are on time, on budget and are of the highest quality

Represents MXM as a thought leader; develops industry/vertical expertise as needed and leverages engagement knowledge and experience to be a recognized engagement expert

Works closely with Vice President, Social, to maintain the highest level of social delivery, empowering and operationalizing social best practices in social content, social publishing, social influencer and social analytics. Assists with the management and development of the Engagement, Enablement and Content Amplification teams with respect to operations, performance management, quality assurance and compliance.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements| All must be met to be considered.
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or substantial professional experience required.
Experience:
• 7 -10 years previous experience in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications.
• Demonstrated experience of using social media in personal or professional setting.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to oversee large corporate accounts and manage all day-to-day deliverables from an account standpoint.
• Understanding of social media content and the online space.
• Experience with social publishing, media, influencer, analytics and listening technologies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills.
• Experience with marketing strategies/tactics and new business development.
• Ability to work and manage teams in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be well organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
