Role Description
As Business Analyst you will play a pivotal role in supporting the International Product teams make sound commercial investments and build exciting consumer propositions, as well as client-facing tools and backend systems. This is a 12 month fixed term role, which is based in our London office, will have global reach and your insights and expertise will help drive Ticketmaster’s ambition to provide a fantastic user and client experience across all touch-points and channels.
In this role:
You will support and work alongside the B2C, B2B and Sports product teams, to ensure that the data required to make effective decisions, measure and forecast performance is gathered and presented in the most appropriate and actionable ways.
You will undertake report creation on a regular basis to measure ongoing product KPIs as well as support project specific business cases and help product teams in market, competitor and commercial analysis work.
You will define requirements for reporting sales and inventory data, customer behaviour, and technical performance metrics, and work with product managers and technical teams to integrate into our development schedules.
You will work with your line manager and manage business and stakeholder expectations on delivery and prioritisation of deliveries from your end.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Product and Technical teams to determine data sources and potential analysis approaches to support projects and product deliveries
• Provision and model data to support business case development and long range planning including annual and multi year business planning and forecasting.
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions in collaboration with product.
• Gather ad-hoc reporting requirements and strive to deliver these in the most actionable and innovative ways necessary
• Partner with internal and external market research teams to analyse our customers and the competitive environment
• Support the analysis and report on the performance of features in production, reflecting on successes and identifying areas for continuous improvement
• Present findings to partner teams and organisational leadership
Position Requirements:
• Part Qualified Accountant or BSc in a numerate discipline e.g. Mathematics, Accounting
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, vlookups, complex formula)
• Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to explain complex reports and analysis to non-specialists.
• Experience or at least understanding of the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Be able to work to tight deadlines.
• Demonstrable ability in interpreting and analysing data
• High level of attention to detail
Desired Experience:
• Familiar with Salesforce.com
• European language(s)
• Experience working in the Ticketing Industry or in an Ecommerce business
• Previous experience in a multi-national global business.
