DESCRIPTION:
CBS Radio is launching a Shared Service Center to service Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for all of its properties. The center will drive continuous process improvements through best practices, innovative ideas and a passion for customer satisfaction. As the Collections Associate, you will implement the collections strategy for each customer and ensure all customer invoices are paid on time.
Specifically, this role will be responsible for:
• Ensure all customer invoices are paid within terms
• Maintain excellent records of collection activity
• Ensure all partially paid invoices are cleared by further payment or billing adjustment
• Track and clear any and all unapplied cash
• Weekly review with Supervisor of all overdue accounts
• Maintain good working relationships with customer contacts
• Ensure compliance with the published policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
As an Associate, you must have ability for attention to detail with focus on exceptional customer service. In addition:
• Focus and skill at accuracy, attention to detail and consistency
• Effective time management skills
• Effective problem solving and documentation skills
• Ability to build good relationships with customers and suppliers
• Provide proactive service to customers
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• 3 years A/R experience preferred
