DESCRIPTION:
The Freelance Digital Marketing Coordinator for Simon & Schuster will support the Corporate Digital Marketing department in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns and programs for all of the S&S imprints. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Strategizing and executing digital and social media marketing campaigns for the corporate social channels .
• Social media management: helping to maintain multiple S&S social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.), writing, creating, and designing content, programming posts, responding to day-to-day social media needs and becoming an advocate of the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
• Interpreting website analytics and analyzing social media data, develop recommendations based on measurement reporting and analysis and provide insights to the marketing team
• Researching and developing partnerships with websites
• Researching and keeping abreast of latest web technologies, social media trends, and new online opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in digital marketing required.
