DESCRIPTION:
• Developing, maintaining, editing and updating the Website; providing support and guidance to news, music and promotion departments.
• Producing a wide range of video projects including those used for news stories, lifestyle pieces, sales proposals and promotional purposes.
• Creating story boards, shot lists and production schedules for content-related video projects.
• Writing quick turnaround pieces on trending topics and news events.
• Managing and reviewing web content updates.
• Updating social media accounts based on outlined social media strategy.
• Working with Digital Team to ensure sites have timely, applicable content that appeals to our audiences and relates to the activities of the radio station as a whole.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills Required: Publication writing, CMS, online media.
• Bachelor’s degree with major in English, journalism, communications or related field and Web content development experience required.
• Excellent command over the English language. Expert writing skills, editing, and proof reading abilities.
• Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) as well as writing for online media and working knowledge of Web management. Experience with HTML is preferred.
• Proficiency with video production and editing. Final Cut Pro experience is preferred.
• Intermediate Adobe Photoshop skills.
• Understanding of video content production as related to recaps of sales campaigns and conceptual pitches.
• Working knowledge of sponsorship inclusion on campaigns and production of content used for ROI.
• Self-starter who has their finger on the pulse of what’s trending on the Web. Must be willing to fully integrate themselves into the on-air product of all three stations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong understanding of Web technologies and social media platforms.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure and have great attention to detail in a fast-passed environment.
