Job TitleExecutive Finance Director - Digital
The Executive Finance Director manages the application of accounting principles, practices and procedures as established by the Corporation and the Publishing group. This position directs profit month end reporting, forecasts, budgets and strategic plans, analytical studies and other financial reports.
Essential Job Functions

Directs the preparation of month end reporting, forecasts, operating budgets and strategic plans. Communicates results of reports to Publishing management. Educates Business Managers on fundamentals of accounting for the digital business to ensure accurate interpretation of financial information.

Prepares month end, forecasts, operating budgets and strategic plans for specified profit centers. Communicates results of reports to management.

Directs the preparation of monthly invoicing and revenue reporting for digital advertising sales.

Advises senior management of the economic impact of all operating decisions. Consults on alternative courses of action that reduce costs or increase revenues.

Directs the development and maintenance of procedures to ensure accurate financial statement preparation and safeguarding of assets. Prepares all quarter-end and year-end reports and audit work papers.

Coordinates, prepares and reviews financial evaluation of all new acquisitions considered within the digital group.

Participates in special projects as assigned by senior management.
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Four year college level course of study in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent training and/or experience. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
Experience:
Eight to ten years’ experience in financial analysis, accounting or cost analysis.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency with PC spreadsheet applications including Excel.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate with all levels of management.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of Oracle applications preferred.
Previous management experience preferred.
