Role Summary:
As Vice President, Digital Planning and Monetization, you will be responsible for overseeing the digital planning groups across all verticals and digital platforms in order to maximize revenue through profitable, precise and informed data-driven decisions. This person will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Digital Planning. You will be a member of the highly motivated Digital Ad Sales team at NBCUniversal, one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee a large team across all sales verticals: Entertainment, Lifestyle, Hispanic, News and Sports
• Responsible for all Upfront planning tasks working closely with the SVP of Planning and all Sales portal leads
• Partner with digital leaders across functions, including but not limited to: Ad Ops, Inventory, Marketing, Finance Sales, etc.
• Lead any and all digital planning discussions with key stakeholders on each brand, most specifically around: New product strategy, site redesigns, new apps, etc.
• Work closely with Technology to develop automation to improve the pitch-to-pay process from RFP to invoicing
• Set pricing and packaging strategy for all digital verticals
• Present to various internal and external constituents on various topics such as: Viewability, IVT, VOD, digital video, etc.
• Handle any and all ad hoc requests that may surface in a timely, efficient manner
Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum 8 years of Digital Advertising Sales Planning and Inventory Management
• Minimum 5 years of successfully managing a large team
