Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is seeking a Sr. Media Manager. The Sr. Manager will be an experienced and forward thinking media professional who will lead investment of paid media planning and buying for assigned Ubisoft titles. The position will work with cross functional marketing teams and lead on media strategy, cross channel planning/buying, reporting and education. He/she will be supported with an agency, a media manager and large performance media team handling our tech stack and the social, search and programmatic media. Our ideal candidate will be proficient in media negotiations, reporting, and agency management. In addition, with analytics and digital media being growing disciplines at Ubisoft, this media lead will be data and insight driven. In a nutshell, he/she will be responsible for the planning, buying and execution of media plans.
Responsibilities
• Execute large-scale media investments across all media channels with high level of expertise.
• Maintain deep knowledge of media and marketing data and application to deliver brand ROI.
• Manage a Media Manager
• Responsible for media strategy
• Build and present plans, manage feedback and execute reporting.
• Educate marketing teams
Qualifications
• Minimum 5+ years media experience
• Video Game and/or other entertainment marketing experience a plus.
• Advertising agency media planning background preferred.
• Thorough understanding of Double-click’s 3rd Party Ad Servers, Adobe Audience Manager or similar DMP, Google Web Analytics, ComScore, Neilsen Net Rating, publisher ad servers, and other web tracking tools.
• Experience with Social Media paid advertising including Like Acquisition, Promoting Sharability and Pass-Along, and building brand awareness throughout the platforms.
• Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, highly charged environment. Must be very organized and pay special attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the expertise and professionalism that will earn respect and trust with internal team members and external vendors.
• Strength in presenting information effectively and professionally.
• Ability to manage challenging situations effectively. Maintain a sense of composure and credibility that reflects well on Ubisoft, and resolve conflicts with ease and poise.
• Bachelors or advanced degree in Marketing or Communications required
