Summary
Part of the Online Infrastructure team focusing on online games/projects, the System Administrator is accountable for developing and building the server and network infrastructures where the games/projects are hosted.
Responsibilities
The main and routine tasks of the System Administrator are to:
• Develop and build the server infrastructure for the games/projects – mixture of Windows and Linux servers;
• Develop and build the network infrastructure for the games/projects;
• Document the implementation and technical specifications for the network and server infrastructures;
• Provide 3rd level technical support (when Customer Service and GNS can’t resolve the issues);
• Partake in the on-call rotation;
• Carry out all other related tasks.
Qualifications
Training
Degree in Computer science or other equivalent training.
Relevant Experience
• Experience working with Windows Server, IIS;
• Experience working with Linux;
• Experience working with Cloud infrastructure;
• Experience working with Routers, Switches, Firewalls, etc.;
• Experience working with MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB;
• Experience in Python, Perl or other script languages;
• Experience dealing with customers to prevent and resolve technical problems.
