DESCRIPTION:
The objective of the Inbound Quality Coordinator position is to ensure that all inbound product is received in accordance to the standards set forth in the S&S Vendor Guidelines. The position will be responsible for inspecting, documenting and communicating all issues associated with product receipted at the Riverside Distribution Center. The position will also be responsible for the monitoring of all properties associated with the product master data.
The schedule is Monday through Friday from 6 AM - 2:30 PM.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ensuring that all incoming receipts are compliant with the S&S Vendor Guidelines
• Inspecting and reviewing all issues noted on the receiving checklist
• Record all findings and gather supporting documentation
• Forward all information to the corresponding departments for further investigation
• Quarantine stock until decision is made for work order or put away
• Prepare stock for work order or put away when decision is made
• Running daily/weekly reports to monitor discrepancies related to product master data
• Work with Receiving Department to re-measure stock as needed
• Checking all incoming VAS work order stock against the work order summaries
• Filing all receiving checklists and using information to generate vendor scorecards
• Assist with weekly/monthly Quality Control reporting
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Computer software skills (MS Excel, Word, Access
• Detail Oriented
• Excellent math and problem solving skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work additional hours
• Ability to follow instructions
• Special projects as needed
• Quality Control inspector experience in distribution environment a plus
• Operations Experience preferred
