Responsibilities
The role is part of the head-office FP&A function located in Universal City, Los Angeles, and sits within a ~$2.0bn revenue generating, worldwide, home entertainment distributor and product acquirer.
The Global FP&A Manager will focus on free cash flow (“FCF”), responsible for ~$1bn net FCF, across the Universal Pictures Home Entertainment domestic and international businesses. The role is vital to ensuring the overall liquidity of the global home entertainment and domestic digital businesses, overseeing global processes, helping develop the annual budget, as well as managing in-quarter pacing, quarter close, and interfacing with various territory teams.
Job Duties
Oversee re-forecasting process and work with finance counterparts across the globe. Consolidate, analyze, and communicate performance to senior finance leadership at the global HQ.
Manage year-end and quarter close pacing process. Perform variance analysis and communicate findings to management
Track global investment spend on our acquisition product (such as Korean Drama, Anime, Comedy, Kids content, Documentaries and movies) and partner with IT to oversee capex budget
Serve as key financial consolidation stakeholder across the domestic & international physical groups and domestic digital group. Support the Director FP&A in leading strategic global FP&A efforts.
Help manage global overhead budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc analysis. Provide regular reporting and interface with overhead stakeholders as needed.
Interface with stakeholders at the Film HQ group, OpCo teams based around the world, the Treasury group, and the Controllership teams to ensure accurate financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
Own various system submissions to Film HQ required for pacing, quarter close, and budget.
Partner with, and provide guidance to, the outsourced resource provider to facilitate various workflows.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in FP&A or related areas of finance. Experience in media/entertainment industries is preferred.
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field

Desired Characteristics
Desired Qualifications
Experience in managing free cash flow and/or related financial metrics.
Experience with financial consolidation.
Experience in building budgets and forecasts.
Familiarity with public company accounting and GAAP financials.
Experience collaborating with other functional teams and working in cross-functional teams.
Excellent Excel, Powerpoint, and financial modeling skills are essential.
Ambition to learn and grow within the company.
Positive attitude and pro-active work ethic.
Highly detail-oriented and ability to communicate financial analysis in a concise manner.
International consolidation experience is desired.
Business Warehouse / Essbase / SAP experience a significant advantage.
