We are seeking a highly driven, digital-savvy marketer to join our Marketing team as Audience Marketing Manager, Digital. The Audience Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, managing and executing digital marketing strategies and tactics to meet traffic and registration goals for editorial initiatives and client campaigns.
Responsibilities:
• Create, execute and track marketing plans to achieve traffic and registration objectives for GEMG editorial and custom campaigns
• Establish and continuously refresh digital marketing best practices to optimize tactics, including A/B testing, messaging tactics, segmenting, etc.
• Develop messaging and copy for audience marketing communications, including emails, digital ads, social media, etc.
• Work closely with graphic designers to create highly professional marketing deliverables, including digital destinations, ads, social media campaigns, etc.
• Leverage available social media platforms (e.g. Twitter, Facebook) to enhance visibility and audience engagement for editorial and client campaigns
• Identify, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships to help achieve GEMG audience objectives
• Monitor, analyze, and report on audience marketing results
Characteristics of the ideal candidate:
• Professional experience in audience marketing preferred
• Proven track record in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns
• Exceptional writing skills, specifically in persuasive copywriting
• Strong skills in analytical and strategic thinking; ability to understand and use relevant information about market issues and audience interests to develop compelling messaging
• Experience in SEO, paid traffic and social media marketing social media marketing highly preferred
• Knowledge of HTML, Adobe Dreamweaver, and web-based email platforms preferred
• Experience with using Google Analytics and other digital analytics tools preferred
• Creativity and a high degree of organization skills
• Knowledge of government market preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required
