The Sales Operations team @ Twitter partners with Global Sales teams to drive revenue, craft and execute sales strategy, manage all internal systems to drive productivity and provide ad operations assistance to customer ad campaigns. Members of the operations team focus on initiatives and projects that set to achieve the above objectives.
As a Sales Operations Manager, you will serve as a key member of the regional sales team to help drive creation and execution of quarterly and annual business plans, defining & supporting sales process for your region to serve clients marketing objectives, reporting & auditing periodic revenue trends, designing/measuring and driving KPIs to enhance overall sales productivity in addition to continuous process reengineering and problem solving. In your role you will also take up broad spectrum special projects ranging from designing resource allocation models, yield optimization programs to managing rollout, maintenance and reporting on new sales enhancement process/platforms and tools.
Your job will also include in-depth quantitative analysis of key twitter usage trends/inventory analysis in addition to other sales operations metrics with particular focus on problem solving and creation of scaled systems and processes. You will work very closely with Senior leaders in the Operations and Sales teams to quickly understand issues and implement solutions.

What does success in this role look like:
• Deeply embed with the sales team and become the operations backbone for those teams.
• Being highly proactive with independent thinking to effectively and quickly drive initiatives across sales org
• Communicate effectively to sales leadership on sales team’s successes, challenges and execution plans for solving those challenges
• Create innovative, data-driven strategies to promote Twitter's sales operations objectives
• Co-lead significant short- and long-term efforts contributing to the overall growth, sales productivity and ultimately profitability of Twitter
• Present strategic insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in the Sales, Finance, Revenue and Marketing, and Support organizations critical to maintaining or developing long-term relationships with key brands
Responsibilities:
• Assist central team to drive operational logistics including optimizing resource allocation across teams, measuring progress against sales goals, and assisting in key sales management meetings
• Develop analytical frameworks, tools, and techniques to plan and communicate short and longer term resource needs
• Work with our cross functional partners (Sales teams, Revenue engineering, Finance, HR) to ensure successful execution of key projects, while continually identifying opportunities for ongoing program improvements and enhancements
• Help identify opportunities to improve sales team efficiencies, and lead efforts to scale best practices across your vertical/sector.
• Participate and help steer global initiatives as appropriate and ensure that global initiatives are rolled out properly to every region/sector
• Develop, manage & report on key revenue and pipeline metrics
• Conduct strategic market insights including competitive landscape analysis to help formulate go to market plans
• Actively participate in creating Quarterly business reviews with the sales teams
Requirements/Qualifications:
• 3 to 5 years experience post college - preferably in the digital marketing industry and familiarity with popular digital advertising platforms
• Management consulting experience is a plus
• Analytical thinker and structured problem solver
• Experience working with sales operations function with similar needs and job function
• Experience researching and manipulating complex and large data sets
• Strong working knowledge and skills in spreadsheet and presentation software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working in ambiguity with a bent towards fast execution and iteration
• Project management mindset on task execution
• Familiar with SQL or any other form of database querying language a plus
• BA/BS degree or equivalent with specialization in marketing, finance, business, or related field of study.
• Bonus: MBA/MS or equivalent with specialization in marketing, finance, mathematics, business or related field of study.
• Bonus: Knowledge of complex analytical packages including, but not limited to, R, SPSS, Stata, and SAS.
