• Develop custom client solutions utilizing Yahoo’s entire suite of products, including Display, Native, Video, Social, and Performance
• Quarterback a cross-functional Account team and serve as the primary contact for our clients and agency partners
• Develop strategic plan to achieve target revenue goals; hit or exceed these revenue goals
• Partner with clients to understand strategic needs and deliver Yahoo resources to meet not only advertising needs, but overarching business needs
• Understand and effectively communicate Yahoo’s value proposition, technology, processes, and partnerships as they relate to the growth of current and prospective client accounts
• Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting these to the organization; report on the macro and micro forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the digital media industry including developing innovations in mobile, social, and emerging media
You Must Have
• Undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience in online advertising in an agency role (AMD or higher) or senior seller role
• Demonstrated partnership with large clients with a passion for customer focus. Proven track record as a trusted advisor to clients
• Deep understanding of the digital media industry with the ability to credibly articulate strategic insights for clients that are based on data/research
• Strong skills in solution development and the ability to produce client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions that improve/accelerate client campaigns
• History of selecting appropriate products from a diverse product arsenal to solve the client’s advertising objectives. Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and position them against competitors
• Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, verbal and written communication skills (sense of humor required!)
