TITLE:
Content Producer
OVERVIEW OF ROLE andPrimary Responsibilities:
The content producer is responsible for the production of various types of content for use on wetv.com, social media platforms, and other digital and emerging media needs. Under the direction of the digital media content manager and the VP of digital media, the content producer will create multi-platform content, gather assets for wetv.com and social media posts, add content to the site via WordPress or ThePlatform (video), coordinate video and other assets received from production companies for our original series, and work with a designer on graphic elements needed. Day-to-day responsibilities include producing video content, photo galleries, blog/article content, and various social media content, as well as minor administrative tasks, such as entering deal memos, invoices and tracking budgets as needed.

Technical/Functional Competencies
• Short-form video production experience.
• Familiar with web content management tools – WordPress and ThePlatform experience a plus, but not necessary.
• Experience with social media platforms and a passion for discovering and understanding new and emerging tools and platforms.
• Online video management systems.
• Microsoft Office Tools.
• Professional-level writing / proof reading skills.
• Management of large quantities of data and assets.
• Editorial decision making (choosing content for its relevancy and appeal to users).
Key Experiences/Achievements
• 3 - 4 years media Industry experience (television experience a plus).
• Proven record of detail-oriented project management.
• Experience using standard web tools such as content management and tracking systems.
• Proven experience creating video, written and graphic based content.
