Who we are:
We are Twitter's Inside Sales team. We work with Small to Midsized Businesses and help their business grow.
As a Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a team of Account Managers focused on growing revenue with our existing Inside Sales clients and winning new business. You will develop effective go-to-market strategies, enable your team for success with both client leaders and within Twitter, and to provide actionable recommendations and insights back to our internal partner teams. In addition you will:
• Drive revenue growth and consistently exceed sales quota targets for the team and the broader Inside Sales organization
• Actively handle a high-performing team by recruiting excellent talent, developing and rewarding existing talent, running resources efficiently, and demonstrating great leadership
• Drive team-wide and individual performance through improvements in process, product and tools
• Engage with key client and agency partners in-market, building opportunities for your team to be coached throughout the entire client sales cycle leading to larger client revenue wins
• Effectively work cross-functionally with Twitter partners across Marketing, Product, Research, and Agency development to deliver the solutions & outcomes that meet client needs
• Own quarterly sales forecasts, planning and strategy
Minimum Qualifications:
• BA/BSc degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant experience).
• 5 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
Who you are:
• You have at least 8 years proven direct sales experience in digital media with strong foundation in technology, or in technology sales with strong foundation in digital media
• You are an experienced people manager with a track record of building and contributing to high performing teams
• A deep understanding of the online advertising industry with a focus on the tools and technologies that enable ad serving
• You have experience with direct advertiser sales, including negotiations and management of strategic partnerships
• You have worked with partner/agency/alliance management, business development and negotiations
• Track record successfully working with Product, Engineering and Marketing groups
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Able to develop comprehensive forward looking plans and execute against them with both strategic and tactical initiatives
• Team player with a positive and dynamic personality
