The Digital Sales Assistant is responsible for providing support to a Senior Executive and team by successfully accomplishing the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
• Provide general administrative support including, but not limited to, calendar maintenance, answering phones, booking travel, contact maintenance and filing expense reports
• Act as liaison between executive and a wide array of internal and external contacts
• Daily product sales and reporting
◦ Communicate to executive and label staff daily numbers across all projects
◦ Run reports using internal reporting tools for artist and managers
◦ Work closely with senior analyst on forecasts, projections and catalog performance
◦ Update weekly and daily reports with streaming, sales and playlist information for platforms
• Create presentation and sales one-sheets for clients and artists
• Coordinate sales calls and meetings with partners and artists
◦ All logistics for meeting including catering, audio/visual, video conference, etc.
• Maintain confidentiality across all tasks and communications
• Keep up to date on market trends, new and emerging platforms and industry shifts
• Update Artist Profiles
◦ Responsible for updating artist profiles across various commerce platforms
◦ Asset managing images and content
• Present concepts and product ideas for direct to consumer opportunities
◦ Work with artists and management teams to create consumer product plans
◦ Work with 3rd party vendors to source products
◦ Work with creative on asset direction and design
◦ Must be organized and detailed to be able to handle multiple releases/projects simultaneously
◦ Be able to manage inventory levels and costs structure for D2C initiatives
• Coordinate artist activities across:
◦ In-Stores
◦ Venue sales
◦ Direct-to-Consumer
Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 1 year of experience at music company and/or a record label, digital service provider, or entertainment company. Prior experience in music sales/distribution is strongly preferred.
• A proactive, flexible, self-starter who has strong problem solving, analytic, and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional communication and time management skills
• Must have a passionate commitment to music and artists
• The ability to manage time and priorities, set and achieve goals, juggle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously and handle a continually changing environment
• This individual must be extremely organized; must demonstrate the qualities of being a team player; and must be able to create and maintain very strong relationships internally and externally
• Computer skills: Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) and an intimate knowledge of the internet. Will need to learn a variety of other computer systems including SAMIS, LIS, SRS, and Soundscan.
