The SEO Coordinator is an entry-level position designed to support the Analysts and Strategists by providing tactical SEO support to each client team (may work across multiple clients). He/she has executional responsibilities including reporting fulfillment, QA and day to day SEO activities in order to deliver strong business results. They also participate in competitive analysis, keyword research and link building strategy.
This is an entry–level position within the SEO department.
Responsibilities:
• Assists SEO Copywriters, Analysts and Strategists on SEO strategy development and competitive analysis
• Learns the basics and utilizes SEO analysis tools (BrightEdge, Majestic SEO, CognitiveSEO, etc)
• Learns to operate and analyze Web Analytics packages to evaluate vital client data for Search campaign improvement.
• Learn basic keyword research content optimization strategies
• Monitors client search engine rankings, and perform keyword research using industry-standard tools
• Contributes to department thought leadership through writing for company blog, and presenting industry topics internally
• Strong attention to detail, quality assurance
• Proficiency in MS Office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work well in a team, to shine as an individual and to maintain a sense of humor
• Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple timelines
Qualifications:
Education
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year, accredited college or university
Experience
• None; entry-level position
• Previous internship in SEO or related field preferred
Milestones
• Has shown a passion for digital media and SEO particularly
• Has demonstrated a strong desire and capacity to learn
• Has exhibited strong organization skills
• Has developed experience with MS Office Suite
