The Business Analyst-Intelligence & Visualization Analyst works with the Manager, Data Science to support the analysis and segmentation strategy of AEG’s customer database. This position also supports the Manager, Digital Technology and Experience to maximize the use of AEG’s MCCM to deliver campaigns across a variety of channels; utilizing and providing the insight and visualization to the business that supports the evaluation of marketing campaigns.
This position is responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment of accurate and automated reports, dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable and real-time insight into the performance of the business and support the end-to-end BI function. Also responsible for providing insight and identifying new opportunities to support Global Partnerships initiatives and activations.
Job Responsibilities:
• Identifies and develops segments of the AEG customer database based on previous purchase history, digital engagement and demographics
• Provides analysis and insight into the performance of digital marketing campaigns across the AEG businesses
• Works with the venue premium sales teams to identify opportunities for up-sell of premium experiences and products
• Responsible for the creation and management of a reporting and visualization solution that provides interactive and dynamic, real-time insight into the performance of events and campaigns
• Supports AEG Global Partnerships with insights on trends and analysis to support client negotiations and pitches
• Provide support to our venues to identify new opportunities for the promotion of products during events
• Provides ad-hoc analysis and segmentation requests to support events and tour sales across our businesses
• Works with the AEG Europe Business Intellignece team to develop the event analytics platform to support the US venues
Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year) in Computer science/Mathematics or a related field
• 3 years of related work experience
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tolls such as R, SPSS and SAS
• Strong knowledge of SQL and proven experience of working with the major databases platforms
• Experience of visualization tools such as Tableau
• Ability to work independently to complete work objectives, as well as in a team environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and ability to learn required business systems
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentation
• Strong analytical skills; ability to manage, manipulate and analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations using technology
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Experience of working with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
• Experience of visualization tools such as Tableau
