Client interaction and project management, shopping cart creation/design, seating and camping map creation and design, graphic design including client templating and other design work. Ultimately responsible for helping to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring projects meet or exceed internal team and client expectations and are delivered on-time. Responsible to build and maintain internal processes that will ensure consistency, facilitate productivity, limit mistakes while also expanding the team skillset. This individual will take an iterative approach to the department in an effort to facilitate constant improvement. Highly skilled in UI/UX with the ability to mentor and train additional creative services staff.
Job Duties:
1. Collaborates with Client Services Managers to create and maintain an efficient workflow for task and project deliverables. Technical and design discussions amongst team to further departmental processes.
2. Working with Creative Services Team to educate them and build an environment that will foster their development. This will include demonstrations, proofs of concept, and other methods of education.
3. Collaborates with clients and client services managers to understand the needs of the client’s festivals, follow through on their expectations and requirements.
4. UI/UX design work to build frameworks and templates for team to expand upon. This includes Shopping carts and everything involved in the shopping experience including maps, icons, private labeling, etc. Uses Adobe creative suite, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Occasional coordination and interaction with Engineering to discuss/build solutions.
5. Involvement in internal company website planning and updates. Work on internal products.
6. Participation in departmental and company meetings to define departmental goals and help resolve issues.
7. Management of the Creative Services department, creating and refining processes and protocols to improve efficiency and ensuring that client deadlines are met. Streamline and prioritize deliverables from clients and internal departments.
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related area
2. 5 years related work experience
3. Minimum of 5 years or work experience within a web based SAAS environment.
4. Experience within a client and deadline based environment.
5. Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
6. Minimum of 5 years with web-based technologies such as HTML, Javascript, CSS and Photoshop.
7. Strong Project and Client Management Skills
8. Adobe creative suite proficiency (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver)
9. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
10. Strong time Management skills
11. Passionate about product design, usability and the importance of creating a simple user experience.
12. Innate creativity and an “outside of the box” thinker.
13. Passionate about improving the end-user’s ticket buying experience
14. Engineering UI/UX Skills including Javascript libraries, responsive web design, CSS libraries such as Bootstrap, strong HTML skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with Agile Methodologies
2. Experience with high capacity web traffic.
3. 2 years work within a PCI or equivalent compliance level is preferred as well as experience with eCommerce products
