RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collect and maintain competitive and AMC Networks linear and digital rating/demo information so that the most accurate estimates of our program performance can be assessed and utilized throughout the company.
• Build and maintain tracks on competitive series to work from and share that info with Programming/Scheduling personnel; this info will help better inform the estimating process. That data will also be most useful when analyzing programs under consideration for acquisition by our networks.
• Responsible for populating and maintaining the internal estimates system that serves Programming, Sales, Planning and Finance.
• Updating the system as schedules changes come from Programming will be vital to all. Knowing/learning the intricacies of this multi-faceted system is vital.
• Work closely with the VP Programming Strategy to help create the estimates, and will be incumbent on the Director to disseminate that info to various groups in a timely fashion. When the VP has a scheduling conflict, the Director should be able to substitute ably. Seeing to it that Planning has the most accurate, up-to-date info for stewardship will also be an essential part of the job.
• Update VOD C3 information on the various shows offered by our networks in that format.
QUALIFICATIONS
Management Skills
• Ability to work with all types of people in a high pressure environment.
• Minimum 5+ years of media research experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Teamwork.
• Must be organized and use time efficiently.
• Some knowledge of online environment desirable.
Technical/Functional Competencies
• Excellent computer skill.
• Thorough knowledge of all Nielsen systems including PNF, PNS, and N-Power as well as thorough knowledge of Star Estimator and to some degree MRI.
• Ability to analyze data and communicate results of the data for strategic purposes.
Key Experiences/Achievements
