Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Digital Video is responsible for developing and managing SiriusXM's digital video to engage existing and future customers on social media. Deep understanding of the latest in digital video production is a must. Scaling current operations to meet the demands of an expanding social media footprint, focusing on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter, is a key objective. Strong project management capabilities and exemplary interpersonal and management skills in a dynamic environment are essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage video production for Digital Content department.
• Manage digital video content team, including, shooters, editors, motion graphics designers and photographers.
• Direct in-studio and off-site SiriusXM video shoots.
• Manage digital video freelance and equipment budgets.
• Track video performance benchmarks across distribution platforms including Facebook and YouTube.
• Manage training efforts to coach Digital Producers on proper video techniques.
• Sponsor and organize on-camera training for radio hosts.
• Analyze and report on trends in digital video.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Manage Digital Content video team of videographers/editors and motion graphics designers.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience producing video for media companies or digital agencies.
• Expert knowledge of latest video production techniques and equipment.
Requirements and General Skills:
• Experience creating video content for a media company.
• Video and audio recording and editing.
• Directing lighting for digital video.
• Experience communicating video best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work during offsite events.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Adobe Premiere.
• Operating Canon DSLR and C100s.
