Job Description
The Player Intelligence team is servicing the Online Games Teams with data insights that helps to monitor the performance and provides a knowledge and decision basis to help to keep up the game as a service.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will provide reports and insights and interact and learn with regional and global Analytics team. The focus of this role is to provide business intelligence insights in reports and a dashboard environment in order to enable each stakeholder within the worldwide Online Games teams to get all relevant information about the game performance. As an Analyst he will highlight areas of problems but also potentials that enable the game to be more successful and therefore actively participate in shaping the “games as a service” operation of online games within the Singapore studio.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will provide insights on understanding the players and their behaviour.Additionally he will provide a structure for Tracking and data collection for all relevant key performance indicators and coordinate the data ware house development with the technical Business Intelligence Developers.
Responsibilities
• Perform analyses and produce meaningful insights and recommendations to improve player acquisition, retention and monetization.
• Design and maintain dashboards that capture the metrics needed to monitor the game performance
• Work closely with the development team to define business and technical requirements for integrating new tracking into the game
• Design intranet processes to store all analyses, build up a knowledge base and improve analytics coordination over multiple territories
Qualifications
• Ideally a degree in Analytics / Econometrics OR in related fields like Business / Computer Science / Economics / Information Engineering / Mathematics
• Ideally 1-2 years of experience as an Analyst in Games Industry
• Very good communication skills, enjoy communication with other people and an outspoken personality
• Ability to work independently and manage a range of parallel projects
• Knowledge about the Online Games industry market
• Good to advanced knowledge on Statistics, Mathematics, Business and Economics
Technical Requirements
• Be able to perform exploratory analysis in different data sources using SQL
• Experience with MS Excel and SQL Server is a must
• Excellent SQL knowledge required
• Experience using Tableau or other reporting tools
• Very good understanding of data warehouse architectures
• Good understanding of Hadoop, Airflow and open source big data tools
• Ability to develop applications using HTML, JavaScript, Python, and .NET
