Senior Director, Web Product Management & Development (San Francisco)
We are looking for a Senior Director, Web Product Management & Development to lead Web Product management, Publishing and Development at Autodesk. You will be a performance driven, digital leader with a proven ability to set a strategy, develop organizational capability & manage a team to exceptional delivery. This position is instrumental to achieving Autodesk’s digital direct revenue goals over the next 3 years. You will be on the forefront of changing the way Autodesk engages with their customers and fulfills their product needs and creates one of the most profitable channels in the company.
Reporting to the VP Digital Marketing and eCommerce, you will be charged with the responsibility of enabling the achievement of our digital direct revenue growth targets and customer engagement model through strategic web development, site ops management, web optimization for Autodesk’s SaaS portfolio. In this role you will lead Web Product Management, Web Development, Web Publishing, collaborating closely with Content & User Experience Design to ensure our digital touchpoints achieve business & user goals. You are chartered to innovate and create and environment that allows all digital marketers to quickly and effectively execute on initiatives in a self-service approach to reach new customers, drive thought leadership awareness, drive customers to trial and purchase.
In Autodesk’s fast-paced, competitive industry environment, your teams will work closely with our Brand, Industry Marketing & Field Marketing teams to ensure the delivery of fully integrated campaigns that leverage best practices.
The ideal candidate will have deep strategy expertise as a web product manager, understands how to drive innovation in web publishing techniques for maximum efficiency, can lead an agile web development, and can implement effective web testing environments to optimize and deliver the best results and outcomes.
She/He is a strong communicator, fluent in business metrics; someone who is passionate about bringing our SaaS products to customers across the globe. Responsibilities:
• Resident Digital Visionary: Possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy in the digital world; a big-picture vision and ability to effectively roadmap a desired outcome, and the delivery know-how to make that vision a reality
• Lead our Web Product Management, Web Platform Engineering, Publishing teams with a data driven management model
• Create and manage the systems and processes for executing landing pages and localization program planning, initiation, development launch, automation and optimization.
• Design an agile web Product Management team, that drives capabilities and functionalities for our eCommerce and digital marketing initiatives
• Champion the partnership of the web Product Management team with Industry Marketing, E-Commerce, Sales Ops and EIS (IT) in development of integrated data-driven digital assets & programs (ERP, Marketo, Salesforce integration)
• Collaborate with Web UX, Content, SEO and Analytics leaders to execute all digital marketing and eCommerce initiatives
• Oversee performance roadmap and maintenance of web marketing analytics tools and marketing technology solutions (CRM, tag management, DAM, CMS, email systems) in partnership with EIS / BMS
• Develop our multivariate testing capabilities, including test structures, deployment and analysis
• Drive site operations to develop web’s role in lead nurturing programs that drive engagement and result in MQLs (Marketing Qualified leads) and pipeline.
• Work closely with the Sales Analytics team on lead processing
• Lead development and implementation of predictive models to facilitate smarter web marketing analytics- targeting and identify opportunities for Autodesk to automate
• Identify workflow optimization opportunities within & across teams. Create processes to improve efficiency & output & champion adoption across digital team
Requirements:
• Must have a minimum of 10+ years of digital experience, ideally with a focus on modern, eCommerce B2B marketing. Experience in Web Product Management is required
• 5+ years of experience managing teams
• MBA preferred; we are looking for exceptional analytical skills, specifically ability to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries and deliver actionable business insights
• Experience working in matrix environments where influence and collaboration are dominant behaviors for success
• Demonstrated success in delivery of Software Product Marketing initiatives driving user adoption and retention
• Proven success with leading online testing/experimentation and analytics
• Strong people and project management skills, ability to structure work and lead a diverse team of both internal, external and resources to deliver meaningful results.
• Ability to anticipate needs, innovate, multi-task and excel in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Knowledge of major ERP software and other related e-commerce software and tools
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and strategies in language that is digestible to diverse audiences
