Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is looking for a full-time Associate Social Media Manager. This is a new position within the Performance Media division that focuses on data driven strategic media planning and targeting across search, social, and programmatic media channels, leveraging our internal advertising tech-stack and first party data. The Associate Social Media Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all social media strategies. The successful candidate will be a social media specialists with a proven track record running social media campaigns for multiple brands targeting multiple audiences segments, across various social channels. As such, we are looking for candidates with thorough knowledge of the social media ecosystems. In addition, this person should also have an interest and desire to learn all facets of data driven media planning and execution, including search and programmatic. This role will report to the Sr. Social Media Manager.
Responsibilities
• Developing overarching social media strategies and planning for Ubisoft various brand titles.
• Work cross-functionally with brand managers, marketing, and analytics team to established KPIs.
• Provide budget allocation recommendations across mix social media strategies, centric around effectiveness & efficiencies that’s designed to drive direct response and achieving set KPIs.
• Execute on all aspects of planned social media strategies including audience segmentations, creative/asset management, buying, and targeting, across all social media and influencers’ channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat, Musical.ly, et.al…
• Responsible for the day-to-day tactical execution of campaign management, optimization, and reporting provisioning.
• Actively monitor and assess ongoing campaign performance through data analysis.
• Share deep insights around custom audience targeting, creative messaging relevance, performance impacts, brand competitiveness, and best practices with senior brand & marketing leaders.
• Responsible for management relationships with representatives from social media channels partners, and drive any opportunities to be a prefer partner for any new product development, beta testing.
• Stay on the cutting edge of emerging social channels and technologies, keeping the team informed of new scaling opportunities.
• Research and qualify all new social media partners and bring innovative social publishers into the mix for media strategy considerations.
Qualifications
• 2+ years’ experience (preferable working in an agency environment)
• Bachelors or advanced degree in Marketing or Communications required
• Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, highly charged environment. Must be very organized and pay special attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of the social media landscape
• Ability to effectively manage competing initiatives and priorities.
• Flexibility and creative approach to problem solving – finding the yes rather than saying no
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated ability to set goals, meet deadlines, and successfully manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and resourceful.
• Strength in presenting information effectively and professionally.
• Strong communication skills with internal teams and external vendors.
• Team mentality; works effectively with brand marketing teams and other internal cross functional teams to achieve desired results.
• Strong entertainment and gaming background/knowledge a plus
