Job Description
The Digital Sales Manager will drive on going sales initiatives, super serving new releases, providing compelling campaign updates to digital retail partners in order to maximize exposure for ADA releases. They will combine a commercial acumen with a passion for independent repertoire, being enthused to collaborate with labels and retail partners to deliver the best possible outcome for ADA releases.
Responsibilities
• Partner with labels and ADA label management, collecting key marketing, promotion and sales information to be circulated weekly to DSPs and global account management teams.
• Define, co-ordinate and execute digital retail marketing campaigns
• Manage weekly process of identifying key tracks with ADA sales team and distributing to account management for playlist placement at DSPs and Topsify.
• Manage email communication process with labels, including but not limited to:
◦ Prepare regular digital account updates/opportunities to labels based on territory rights
◦ Create submission forms for on-going programs
◦ Maintain email lists based on rights, territory, & additions/changes to labels
• Create secure streams of music for weekly distribution to DSP partners.
• Recap weekly DSP placement and send to labels.
• Gather insightful reporting to labels on the performance of new and ongoing releases utilizing various internal and 3rd party analytical tools.
• Help build and manage central systems for presenting new releases and catalogue campaigns to retail partners.
• Maintain exceptional understanding of the marketing opportunities, systems and timelines of retail partners.
• Manage the creation of advertising assets (banners, HPTOs and radio ads) & traffic assets to media partners.
• Solicit and submit labels content for catalogue campaigns and opportunities at DSPs.
• Add meaningful contribution to healthy relations with all ADA touch points, including but not limited to marketing, editorial, operations, commercial, management and label contacts.
Experience and Qualifications
• Experience in digital music at a record label, distributor or similar
• A sound understanding of the digital retail marketplace, industry trends and competitive landscape
• Sales experience a plus
• A good understanding of digital supply chain and associated lead times
• Microsoft Excel and Power point proficiency
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communications skills
