Entercom Seattle is seeking an organized, detail-oriented and outgoing professional to effectively coordinate and execute all of our four brands' events for this full-time opportunity. The Event Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Director and interact regularly with company executives across multiple departments.
Duties will include but are not be limited to:
• Pre-event details such as venue discovery & booking, audio/visual, surveys, signage, and contract negotiations
• Coordinate event logistics including event space setup, hiring of vendors, attendees' experience, event execution, teardown and on-site client management
• Calculate budgets and ensure they are adhered to
• Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
• Coordinate pre- and post-event evaluations for attendees and sponsors
• Responsible for overall result of event
• Execute all live music events including but not limited to artist and venue advance, recording and capturing of content at these appearances, and client tie-ins
• Managing, storing, transporting gear.
• Manage multiple programs simultaneously
Education/experience requirements:
• Two years of deadline-oriented marketing and event planning experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred and/or equivalent experience and training
Skills/Attributes:
• First-rate organizational skills are a must to succeed in this position
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Ability to produce results in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines
• Experience using Microsoft® Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Basic website HTML, layout and design knowledge and digital graphic design experience helpful
