We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join Snap Inc! Working closely with the Sales Finance team, you will review and audit sales orders to ensure that Snapchat’s clients are billed accurately for the delivery of their ad campaigns. Working from one of our offices around the world, you’ll collaborate with the Sales, Ad Operations, and Accounting teams to create efficiencies and improve our processes as we continue scaling our ad products.
What you’ll do:
• Review incoming sales orders for accuracy and completeness
• Audit campaign deliveries, and prepare monthly and weekly invoices for distribution
• Establish relationships with key clients, and follow-up with them frequently through phone and email on past due balances
• Investigate, document, and resolve client discrepancies
• Collaborate with the Sales and Accounting teams to Identify process improvements and efficiencies to create and improve internal systems and processes
• Prepare various revenue and AR-related reports for management review
• Provide support for the annual financial statement audit, periodic internal audits, and other AR-related requests
• Serve as a liaison between the Sales, Ad Operations, and Accounting teams
• Prepare ad revenue reconciliations for multiple revenue accounts during the month-end close process
• Provide support and prepare other ad-hoc analyses and projects as needed
What we’re looking for:
• 3+ years of work experience in Ad Revenue and AR, preferably in the advertising or digital media/entertainment industry
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong accounting knowledge of debits and credits required
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong Excel skills are required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
• Someone with a proactive, self-directed approach
• Ability to multi-task, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
• A detail-oriented individual with a high sense of urgency
• Exceptional organizational and project managing skills
