Position Summary:
The Digital Analyst, Marketing Analytics delivers critical insights through Web Analytics for SiriusXM's Digital Marketing efforts by leveraging Adobe Analytics and Report Builder along with other internal data sources to provide insight into business goals and key performance indicators. Responsibilities include reporting, analysis, dashboard creation, KPI monitoring, and integration of web traffic data with other marketing campaign data. Partner with business units to ensure proper metrics are being tracked across multiple ongoing initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Own, update and maintain multiple tools to track site conversion and sales metrics. Provide insight on what is driving metrics when variances exist.
• Responsible for managing, organizing, and presenting data in a clear, concise and actionable format; Establish key metrics and develop reporting and analysis using Adobe Analytics (aka Site Catalyst aka Omniture) and Report Builder and other tools.
• Produce daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports relating to outcomes based on the data analysis for various audiences, including management and marketing.
• Create dashboards for senior management and various business units, synthesizing data from various sources.
• Work with marketing and product stakeholders to understand, define and prioritize tracking and reporting requirements. Work with IT and Business Intelligence to identify gaps in data capture strategy.
• Provide quick turn-around responses to ad-hoc data queries.
• Identify and resolve issues with the data.
• Extract data using basic SQL or work with already supplied data to gain further insight into consumer activity.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of experience with Web Analytics Tools (Adobe Analytics/Site Catalyst/Omniture strongly preferred).
Requirements and General Skills:
• Ability to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements.
• Ability to create useful "dashboards" based on data and understanding of KPI.
• A passion for numbers and the ability to use them to tell a story regarding site performance, consumer trends, and competitive analysis.
• Proactive in analyzing data and customer behavior.
• Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Excel is required, including charting and analysis of large data sets.
• Adobe Analytics/Site Catalyst/Omniture and Report Builder; knowledge of other Adobe tools a plus.
• Basic conceptual understanding of SQL; experience with SQL a plus.
