Position Summary
The Senior UX Designer will be responsible for creating new, intuitive and engaging web experiences, or improving and redesigning existing interactions on our marketing and self-care websites. The ideal candidate must understand user-centered design methods, will be self-directed and have strong problem solving skills, and be able to communicate and collaborate within a fast-paced work environment. The UX designer will work regularly with the UX director, as well as other UX designers, graphic designers, web developers, marketing managers, analysts and be responsible for wire framing, rapid prototyping, and page builds. This role will also assist members of the Interactive team in a variety of functions including web publishing in the content management system, design projects, development and production tasks, A/B testing and QA.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Design engaging site experiences using the latest design and front-end web technologies.
• Work closely with our design and user experience teams to efficiently design and develop site pages.
• Follow industry best practices and company guidelines to create maintainable site code.
• Work with our analytics team to optimize site experiences through A/B testing and site analysis; integrate designs with A/B & Multivariate Testing Tools.
• Collaborate with other members of the digital marketing team on the development of new initiatives.
• Publish updates and new pages via content management system.
• Provide support to other team members as needed (QA, data entry, production updates, resizing of graphics, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• Four year college degree or related work experience.
• 8-10 years experience within the digital marketing industry.
• Adobe graphic design suite including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Rapid prototyping tools, preferably Axure.
• Ability to create low-fidelity wireframes as well as high-fidelity visual design mockups.
• Experience working with a large scale content management system.
• Experience with responsively-designed websites, preferably using the Bootstrap framework.
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrated interest in continued education, and ability to thrive when facing unexpected and/or high pressure tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated experience writing clean, valid HTML and CSS code (preferred but not required).
Requirements and General Skills
• An online portfolio demonstrating UX (wireframes/prototypes/other UX artifacts) and visual design work.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency with Adobe graphic design suite including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Proficiency with Axure and similar wireframing/prototyping tools.
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
