A Little About Us
The Yahoo Operations Finance team provides planning, forecasting, reporting and analytics support for C-level executives and senior management across all Yahoo businesses. We also provide direct business partner support on planning, forecasting, tracking of operational and financial KPIs and associated decision support analyses. This includes identifying business opportunities and risks, and providing the business leaders with data driven insights.

Your Day
The Finance Manager will be a crucial member of the Yahoo Operations Finance team, and will get exposure to the following:
• Develop financial models and analytical tools for forecasting and ad-hoc analysis
• Help drive and standardize the annual planning and quarterly forecast process
• Engage with business leaders to develop financial plans and forecasts
• Manage consolidation efforts across all areas of revenue
• Partner across all functions and departments driving appropriate coordination, education, reporting and analysis.
• Provide analytic insights to business leaders
• Analyze underlying financial performance, including reporting and analysis of actuals vs forecast performance
• Organize and prepare financial presentations
• Develop financial models to support strategic and growth initiatives and influence business decisions via scenario planning and in-depth analysis
• Manage and assist with various ad hoc projects
You Must Have
• A bachelor degree in Finance or Economics (or related field) plus 4+ years of related experience
• Superior business and analytic skills.
• Experience creating complex financial models
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
• MBA preferred
• Broad exposure to analytical decision making and problem solving in previous roles, e.g. Decision Support Roles, Business Partnering, Consulting, Banking Analyst, Private Equity Analyst, is a plus
