This position will report directly to the Senior Manager of IT Development and will be responsible for development and unit testing activities associated with the Blackboard SalesForce Sales and Service Cloud environment, as well as supporting the rest of the SalesForce development team.
The development team is responsible for all development and unit testing across the suite of enterprise applications in the internal Blackboard environment. Applications include SalesForce, Oracle Fusion P2P/HCM, PeopleSoft and Web Applications. The team works closely with the QA and operations teams to ensure consistency and repeatability in how the applications are delivered and managed across the enterprise
Essential responsibilities will include:
• Development and unit testing for Salesforce environments (Service and Sales) and interfaces with other applications like Vertex, CPQ, Mulesoft etc…
• Maintenance User stories related to Service and Service Cloud.
• Projects related to Salesforce Service and Sales cloud.
• Leading the SalesForce development team and supporting more junior team members
Professional Qualifications
Required Skills:
• 3-5 years’ experience developing directly on Salesforce/force.com products using APEX, Visualforce and SOQL on Service Cloud. Apex & Visualforce coding expertise.
• UI Customization
• REST & SOAP API
• Salesforce Developer Certifications
• Clear and articulate verbal/written communication
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Experience using GitHub or similar version control and collaboration tool
• Experience with Continuous integration using Jenkins or similar tool
• Self-motivated and self-directed abilities to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with "time-critical" deadlines
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
• Possesses a team and customer service provision orientation
Preferred Skills:
• Experience leading a small team.
• Force.com Eclipse Plug-in or similar
• Force.com (Sandbox and Production)
• Experience working with custom objects, workflow
• Experience using agile tools like Target Process or JIRA.
