DESCRIPTION:
WBBM-FM B96 & WBBM-AM Newsradio 780 Chicago are looking for a professional, detail oriented individual who can multi-task and has exceptional organizational and computer skills to support the National Sales Manager. Ideal candidate is energetic, efficient and capable of multi-tasking for a variety of personalities in the lively fast paced environment of radio sales.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Responsibilities include:
• Create sales presentations by compiling data; developing presentation formats and materials; creating and/or maintaining one-sheets and media kits.
• Daily Sales Order entry into traffic system
• Assist NSMs with preparing and sending proposals
• Maintain account lists, client database and sales contract book
• Update managers by consolidating, analyzing and forwarding daily action summaries
• Obtain local invoices for clients/agencies as needed; interacting closely with Traffic Department to ensure smooth execution of sales orders and track down missing copy and instructions
• Resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history; identifying alternate means for filling orders; notifying managers and customers
• Perform general administrative duties including filing, faxing and copying; provide back up to Traffic and provide phone coverage for station as needed.
• Use the following programs in a Windows environment: Microsoft Word 2000, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and File Maker Pro.
• Works as a team with other departments, individuals.
• Attend sales meetings, training sessions and client remotes as needed.

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be a multitasking problem solver. In addition, the right candidate:
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) with the following skills: data entry, reporting, graphic design and internet research
• Must be a professional and a proven team player with customer focus
• College degree preferred, marketing or communications a plus
