The Reel FX VR & Interactive division launched in 2014 as one of the earliest pioneers in the space and we have already developed over fifty world-class VR experiences for top brands, agencies, film studios and other clients.
We have one of the most experienced VR content creation teams on the planet, and the ability to deliver amazing quality projects ranging from fully interactive VR experiences using game engines to Live Action 360° content using bleeding edge cameras and stitching technology.
We are one of the few studios that bring all of these capabilities under one roof and we need a passionate sales leader to help us shape and deliver this message to potential clients. We are part of the Reel FX organization and our multiple divisions develop and produce award-winning animated films, virtual reality experiences, commercials, mobile/interactive content, and live-venue projects. Based out of Dallas, Texas and Santa Monica, California, the company has over 23 years of experience creating world class content.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are looking for a sales leader to drive relationships and revenue for our VR & Interactive division.
Our mission is to grow existing relationships and fearlessly go after new business, work tirelessly to understand each client’s needs, and deliver Reel FX as the ideal creative content solution.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing clients in order to increase sales.
• Track and report on sales pipeline activities, and help create sales proposals for potential customers, working closely with our Executive Producers and Creative teams.
• Learn continuously. The VR/AR landscape is changing on a daily basis and you need to be ahead of what is coming next and evangelize that to our clients.
• Provide front line phone and email response to inbound information and pricing requests from potential clients.
• Collaborate with the leaders of the other Sales divisions to identify strategic opportunities to drive additional overall company sales.
• Partner with marketing team to develop solutions to create innovative outbound campaigns, activations and programs in order to increase lead flow.
• Sustain and renew client contracts in partnership with our in-house legal team.
• Monitor accounts after sales with Account Managers and Producers with continued sales focus.
• Attend industry functions such as conferences, and festivals.
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current internal customer/project knowledge.
Education and Experience Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of successful Digital Marketing Sales Experience required
• Energetic, hungry, tech-savvy, unstoppable
• Passion for VR/AR and emerging technologies
• Working knowledge of CG Animation, Live Action Commercial Production, and Video Games
• Bachelor’s degree in business, psychology, marketing or related field preferred
• A willingness to travel
• Drive results, exceed targets – interpersonal skills to do so in a positive, constructive, fun manner
• Excellent communication/presentation skills, and a sense of humor
