The Condé Nast Emerging Products group is looking for a skilled Digital Production Designer to help drive the future of content and storytelling. The Digital Production Designer is responsible for detail oriented, pixel-perfect execution for products across Condé Nast properties.
The ideal candidate has a passion and knack for technical, efficient and detailed work, will quickly and easily understand constraints and propose effective editorial design solutions based on product requirements, user goals, and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Support and execute Product Design initiatives across Condé Nast’s portfolio of brands.
• Oversee the optimization of existing Product features, and define and envision the creation of new interactions and signature moments
• Create and source graphics for web, iOS, Android and print.
• Work closely with developers to ensure implementation meets all requirements (QA).
• Create guides and toolkits in various formats that help the team deliver the highest level of detail.
• Build and manage libraries and archives to house creative assets.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
• 3+ years of related experience with a portfolio that exhibits excellent use of typography, color, imagery, information architecture and attention to detail.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
• Full knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to design for mobile devices.
• Proficiency with Apple hardware and software.
• Understanding of HTML/CSS/JQuery.
• Familiarity with GitHub and JIRA.
• Strong sketching skills and information design skills a plus.
