DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for development and execution of social media marketing on behalf of assigned series to increase awareness, affinity, and advocacy across social networks as a ladder up for driving tune-in. Work closely with Director, Social Media Marketing to integrate social media into marketing plans and build an overall strategy across online communities and digital platforms. Partner with members of Digital Media group as well other SNI departments and external partners to develop and execute projects.
DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT INNOVATIVE STRATEGIES FOR ASSIGNED SERIES BRAND PRESENCE ACROSS SOCIAL MEDIA
• Community strategy and management on core platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr and Snapchat
• Develop and write editorial calendar and publishing schedule for social content, promotions, and campaign activations
• Monitor performance metrics and platform updates for opportunities and needs for post and creative optimizations
• Partner with and facilitate promotions and collaborations with Digital Marketing, PR, Talent Relations, SHO Store, Acquisition, and other key stakeholders
• Work with Director in development, presentation and approval of social strategy, tactics, and campaigns
• Live Community Management during on-air linear windows and special events
• Monitor series communities to identify and engage influencers and fans
• Lead asset requests, development and approvals of creative tactics for assigned series
• Collaborate with Digital Marketing and Digital Creative teams to develop content
TRACK AND REPORT ONLINE BUZZ REGARDING SHOWTIME PROGRAMMING
• Compile weekly SNI social media performance highlights report in collaboration with team Coordinator
• Work with Director in creation of ad hoc analytics requests, social insights, and end of season recaps
MANAGE EXECUTION OF PAID MEDIA EFFORTS ON SOCIAL PLATFORMS
• Work with Director and Media team to create and manage paid media campaigns
• Lead development of paid media creative components as needed
EXPLORE NEW SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ASSIGNED SERIES
• Identify unique opportunities to engage users
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3-5 years social media experience and/or digital marketing; experience with entertainment or media brands preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Affinity for Showtime Networks and key programming
• Exceptional creative writer with story-telling skills
• Ability to develop series brand voice
• Strong understanding of best practices for community management and development
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to interface easily with all levels of management and cross-functional teams
• Strong ability to operate as a social content curator of interesting and compelling content to share across communities
• Strong understanding of key social media KPIs, analysis and reporting
• Strong understanding of digital and social media landscape
• Experience with Hootsuite, SocialGuide, and Canvs
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or Keynote
• Flexibility and ability to multi-task changing priorities
• Strong organizational skills
