Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute test cases to diagnose issues and bugs, creating quality test data when required
• Work with the test lead to identify any challenges that could cause problems during the test automation process
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
◦ File tickets in Jira for valid bug reports.
◦ Work closely with both the Engineering and IT departments to ensure timely resolution of issues.
◦ Work in a fast paced Agile development environment.
◦ Assist with constantly reviewing and evolving processes.
◦ Help write documentation for our software tools.
◦ Help develop and write test plans for new features/existing products.
◦ Write scripts to do automated testing of our software using software like Selenium-Java
# With help from senior Automation engineers, work with development team to develop test strategies, test plans and test cases. Perform functional, regression and other testing activities. Follow team’s QA processes such as documenting defects, project related documentation, partnering with other team members to see the product through to production.
Qualifications:
• Learn and own one or more critical functional areas.
• Utilize the existing automation framework to automation test cases.
• Learn to maintain and develop the automation framework.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science
• 0~2 year engineering experience.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux/Unix environments
• Strong data collection and analysis skills
• Java or C++ programming experiences
• Proficient in XML structures and parsers.
• Broad OS and networking knowledge, an aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Solid understanding of SQL/relational database concepts
• Experience in software development and testing tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills & presentation skills
• Must be a good team player.
• Detailed oriented, resourceful, initiative and creative.
