TEN: The Enthusiast Network is seeking a full-time Account Executive, Automotive Aftermarket Sponsorship Sales for the El Segundo, CAoffice.

Position Description
The Account Executive, Automotive Sponsorship Sales (full-time, salaried, regular) will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining an active base of endemic and non-endemic sales accounts for TEN’s network properties, delivering a broad range of automotive aftermarket event opportunities to clients by providing marketing suggestions and beneficial solutions specific to the client’s brand and campaign goals. The essential duties include, but are not limited to:
• Identify and establish contact with potential customers proactively to acquire new accounts and grow the business.
• Develop and establish a sponsorship services protocol and process which will assist in building relationships and acquiring new sponsor accounts while organically growing established sponsor business.
• Respond to event sponsorship / vendor sales inquiries from new and existing customers.
• Support other TEN Automotive Aftermarket Sales staff in selling event sponsorships / vendor booth space.
• Meet annual sales goals and targets as outlined in Plan.
• Generate revenue through event sponsorship sales – new and existing business.
• Develop a growth plan for each account that includes in person visitation/sales calls as approved by Supervisor.
• Maintain relationships and favorable contacts with new and existing customers for event sponsorship sales and deliver a detailed account strategy.
• Maintain a contact database to provide key projections for charting growth in the marketplace.
• Deliver presentations of TEN’s automotive aftermarket events properties at customer sites, conferences and exhibitions.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Education/Experience:
• College degree.
• Sponsorship sales background.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated agile cogitation to give quick and accurate response to questions.
• Strong interpersonal customer service & client relations skills.
• Exceptional problem solving & organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under time constraint pressure.
• Ability to communicate marketing ideas and plans in written proposals, to include PowerPoint & Excel spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of digital and print media ad ops procedures & media specifications.
• Working understanding of sales contact management programs.
• Ability to work as a team member with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and able to work with negligible supervision.
Physical Requirements:
• The ability to sit for prolonged period of time and view computer screen.
• Flexible to work anytime.
• Willing to travel on frequent basis.

Work Environment:
• Work is performed in an office environment that is well lit and ventilated.
