The Netflix marketing team is growing as we expand our slate of original content. We’re seeking a talented content marketing manager to help us continue to scale the Netflix membership in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand with our expanding slate of feature films. This is an exciting area of growth for Netflix with significant investment being made across original productions as well as acquisitions.
We are looking for a highly strategic, innovative and passionate professional with proven success marketing feature films. Qualifications for this role are extensive experience developing and executing paid media plans (mobile/digital fluency a huge plus), a deep understanding of film marketing mechanics, exceptional creativity and a genuine love of film. Comfort with public speaking is a plus as Netflix is very collaborative culture and this role will interact with and need to influence large groups of cross functional peers.
This person will work with internal teams and external media agencies to construct paid media campaigns and consumer activations that drive subscription membership growth and reinforce Netflix’s brand narrative as the leading producer of premium original content. You will also have a voice in the development of creative materials needed to accomplish your goals for the US/Canada/AU/NZ region.

This position will report to the Director, North America, Australia and New Zealand and it will be based in our Beverly Hills office.
Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience as a brand, product or title marketing manager directly supporting or connected to feature films. Media and Creative Agency experience is a big plus.
• High level of knowledge in media planning and strategy across multiple channels including programmatic and reserve digital/mobile, television, print and OOH. Experience executing events and stunts is also a plus. We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for ‘what’s next’ in ad tech.
• Genuine passion for films. Have a POV on growth opportunities and Netflix’s approach to the sector.
• Experience developing marketing campaigns including positioning framework, audience identification, and launch roadmaps.
• Proven ability to collaborate with and influence internal team members and cross functional peers.
• Success managing external agencies and budgets.
• Proven ability to interface with filmmakers and showrunners.
• Ability to act autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to love your job and work with a smile.
• BA/BS degree required.
Responsibilities
• This position entails crafting go-to-market plans for a slate of Kids/Family/Young Adult content. Titles span animation and live action films and Series.
• Work with Consumer Insights team to identify prospective audience segments and insights to inform positioning and paid media targeting strategy.
• Work with Global Creative Marketing team to help shape creative materials development to maximize success in the US/Canada/AU/NZ regions.
• Collaborate with Social and PR teams to develop highly aligned, multi-faceted campaigns that will create buzz, find new fans and drive regional membership growth.
• Communicate with global counterparts to share insights and best practices.
• Work closely with internal teams to drive information gathering and data analysis efforts to drive campaign optimization and future enhancement of media plans.
• Manage day-to-day plan execution and work alongside creative teams to ensure creative is well aligned to strategy.
• Manage agency on development of media tactics and ultimate execution of the campaign.
• Lead campaign execution between creative teams, media agency, and operational team to drive flawless execution of campaigns.
