General Summary:
An Account Manager at imre is an experienced brand strategist and client relationship lead who can blend creative and analytical thinking to harness and lead the agency to deliver innovative work that helps our clients achieve their business objectives.
A successful Account Manager serves as a trusted counsel to our clients and possesses a profound understanding of their audiences, industry and brand. This individual has a high level of professional knowledge and skill in leveraging insights to build and manage marketing communications campaigns for a digital world.
A successful Account Manager is dynamic, collaborative and agile and shows expertise in managing a cross-functional team through multiple projects with a high degree of confidence, independence and sound judgment. The ideal candidate must be savvy in digital, social and public relations strategies, tactics and evaluation techniques.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties:
Leads the development of overall client strategic plans and goals. Manages account teams assigned to specific clients.
Serves as the primary contact and liaison between the agency and assigned client in all matters.
Provides leadership and serves as a role model for team members, providing clear direction, inspiring action, creating growth opportunities and fostering a culture of collaboration across team functions.
Supervises and provides overall leadership and direction in recommending short-term and long-range goals and objectives for assigned clients. Leads client teams in planning and developing programs and services that are consistent with the clients mission and strategic plan.
Responsible for the fiscal management of assigned client budget. Accountable for the development, management and evaluation of operating budget, and for achieving objectives while operating within budgeted expense targets.
Assists in the selection and manages outside contractors related to assigned clients.
Ensures that the client and agency complies with all copyright laws, confidentiality issues and ethical standards within the profession.
Represents agency in various professional societies or other associations deemed appropriate by agency leadership.
Collaborate in the new business process to actively purse and land new clients for the agency.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Position requires exceptional oral and written communications skills and knowledge of marketing techniques and typical agency procedures in order to coordinate effective campaigns and programs
Work requires excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a variety of internal and external audiences, to propose marketing and communications goals and objectives, to represent clients to the media and various groups, to seek out and build relationships with potential clients, to close deals and to lead and direct subordinate staff.
Position requires problem solving and conceptual skills to recommend approaches and methods; to plan, coordinate, and evaluate communications activities; to prepare reports and analyses; to project trends and developments in the field; and to recommend short-term and long-range goals and strategies based on such.
Position requires both a team leader that encourages collaboration and ideation among team members, as well as, an aggressive and fearless marketer, that is willing to get their hands dirty and do whatever it takes to deliver the highest quality work on behalf of their clients.
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment, where there is no physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, or smoke.

Reports to Director of Los Angeles Office
