Our Opportunity:
Cumulus Kansas City is looking for a Full Time Traffic Manager/Administrative Assistant to work in a team environment and be a liaison between Traffic, Sales and the Programming Department by managing the daily preparation and maintenance of on-air logs, scheduling contracts, posting daily logs, preparation and maintenance of reports and assisting the Sales Managers and Sales Representatives in the day to day function of the sales organization.
Responsibilities will include:
• Daily use of software to schedule inventory in order to maximize station revenue on high demand stations in sell out situations
• Scheduling copy
• Posting of daily logs
• Preparation and maintenance of reports
• Weekly affidavit processing of network and syndicated programming
• Assisting the sales department with day to day sales functions
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Radio or Television experience in the traffic department preferred
• Possess innovative problem solving and decision making skills to achieve station goals and work with Sales Representatives to efficiently accommodate advertisers and maintain revenue
• Dependable and responsible and display excellent attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Possess strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office products (especially Excel) and Outlook email
• Demonstrate ability to work under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines with minimal supervision and with calm professionalism
• Possess strong analytical skills, professional demeanor, proven ability to multi-task amid constant interruptions, and a positive outlook
• Knowledge of Photoshop a plus but not required
