Role Responsibility
The Business Systems Product Manager supports:
• Business Systems Strategy Manager in shaping and implementing specific product or product group strategies which meet business needs and align with Design and Engineering principles
• Responsible for the overall product life cycle and roadmap, ensuring quality of design and development, and robust and effective support model
• Provide system expertise, technical support and knowledge to both service delivery and change/project teams ensuring dependencies and relationships between all associated systems are understood, maintained and communicated effectively to relevant stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate
If you have the following skills and experience:
• Detailed knowledge of one or more business systems areas, e.g. Resource Scheduling, Quality, Risk and Assurance, Legal, Workplace (estates management)
• Knowledge of one or more resource scheduling systems e.g. ScheduALL, Workplace Scheduler
• Good understanding of integration, particularly with SAP ECC 6.0 HR & Finance
• Experience in managing a complex technical systems/environment, including interfaces
• Experienced in managing conflicting demands in situations of pressure where priorities are rapidly changing
• Experience of having to communicate clearly with a range of people at different levels of the organisation and explain technical issues using a range of styles, tools and techniques
• Authoritative knowledge of security policies and statutory requirements relevant to the role
• Understanding of security, access and authorisations
• Experience of overseeing and working with 3rd party suppliers
• Experience of providing a high quality service in a demanding customer service environment
• Knowledge of change and configuration management procedures
• Solution orientated and problem solving
