The Operations Finance teams help to drive success by providing our business partners and key stakeholders with the operational support, insights and direction essential to growing the business. We’re responsible for driving the financial forecast process and providing senior leaders with reporting and analysis on key metrics.
A Lot About You
You are a self-starter with a love of finance, analytics and operations. You work well in teams and individually. You thrived in college and are ready to roll up your sleeves and add value to the finance organization while learning a few things along the way. You enjoy collaborating on a whiteboard, analyzing in a spreadsheet and presenting your solutions. You have fun, are a tech junkie and use Yahoo products.
Your Day
This role is part of a rotational program in Operations Finance. We will teach you the ins and outs of working in a Silicon Valley high tech company while you help us achieve our big goals. You will work closely with all management levels to help grow our business. You will work on projects to improve and simplify processes.
Primary responsibilities, varying by team, include but are not limited to:
• Forecasting, planning, reporting or analysis for business units, regions or total company
• Project management and operational support
• Team and cross-functional communication
• Work on revenue, product, process or operational initiatives
You Must Have
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
• A current senior graduating in May/June 2017
• Minimum GPA 3.5
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; attention to detail; problem solving abilities
• Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment that is fast-paced and highly dynamic
• Passion for technology or media
