We have an opening for an experienced, inspiring Country Manager in our Malaysia office. Does this sound like you?
The Country Manager is responsible for taking our team and business in to new heights, whilst leveraging MHE’s success as a global leader in education.
• This role drives sales and business growth in the local market across our School & English Language Learning, Higher Education and Professional businesses – and as such, the manager reports into three business directors for those segments in the Asia-Pacific region
• The Country Manager leads a focused, dedicated team in applying and executing sales, marketing and product management strategies to bring deeper, more effective McGraw-Hill Education customer solutions to the Malaysia market.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Manage sales and business development of McGraw-Hill Education’s portfolio of digital products and services to ensure long-term growth and customer value
• Develop the local market through achieving and exceeding sales, profit and digital growth targets
• Inspire the sales team to deliver and exceed sales targets and foster a culture of accountability and success
• Manage the McGraw-Hill Asia brand in the local market and ensuring consistent positioning, identification and communication of key messages
• Drive digital transformation across the team and identify key business growth opportunities
• Partner closely with Business Directors and other regional roles in aligning strategy and ensuring the delivery of results against objectives.
• Build a strong customer-centric culture and utilize Net Promoter Scores (NPS) to understand and deliver on customer expectation
Requirements:
• Minimum 8 year’s experience in a senior managerial position, ideally within the Sales/Business Development field
• Excellent planning, organization and analytical leadership skills
• Proven record of success with managing businesses and teams within a matrix organization
• Able to identify and evaluate achievable sales and marketing objectives
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
