POSITION SUMMARY
This leader will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, integration and execution of all online, web, and mobile sales channel activity leading to customer activation called 'connects'. The scope of this role includes both residential and business sales. This role will ensure robust processes are in place, utilizing research and data analytics, to develop a deep understanding of consumer behavior, needs and emotional connections to drive and implement actionable steps in eCommerce strategies and programs.
This leader will manage an existing and capable eCommerce team and collaborate with other key functions including marketing, product teams, user experience, operations and technology. The Vice President eCommerce will be responsible for identifying and enhancing conversion capabilities in a fluid and competitive environment with a focus on measuring results-the most critical being the growth and profitable performance of the eCommerce business. Driving consumer engagement and increasing revenue will be the critical measure of success. This person will also be continually engaged in a constructive and collaborative dialog with the leadership of the company about the direction of the online business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop an eCommerce that will increase consumer adoption and drive the online business to its potential. Fuel the impact of digital conversion and work with the broader team to implement strategies across the early and appropriate stages of the customer life cycle.
• Be a visionary and catalyst relative to industry developments relating to eCommerce to assist in the evolution of the strategy. Rigorously monitor competitor efforts, site changes and industry trends to take preemptive and responsive actions, as appropriate.
• Serve as an advocate for the digital business within the company, collaborate broadly, and ensure that all team members and partners are focused on building this business through continual communication, monitoring and bringing digital 'DNA' to the organization.
• Coach and develop a strong eCommerce team both in talent, resources and technology to achieve best in class results in the industry. Partner with digital product managers that will oversee internal product development, enhancements and delivery, including definition of the product roadmap and customer experience, development of the business case, product specifications and prototyping.
• Deliver a compelling digital merchandising strategy that will show the value proposition and versatility of the Comcast Cable offering. Drive online engagements to conversion or 'connects' that establish the beginning of the customer's experience with Comcast.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
The Vice President, eCommerce will be an innovative digital commerce expert who balances intuition with analytics and collaboration. The successful candidate will have a proven understanding of all aspects of sales channel conversion including merchandising, promotions, analytics and product capabilities. This leader will be a big picture thinker who is also detail and results-oriented, organized and committed to flawless execution. In addition, the ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader who can articulate a vision and lead a team to realize it. The candidate should have a track record of hiring and developing world class eCommerce talent, as well as, the ability to influence at an executive level through exceptional business acumen, domain expertise and gravitas.
EXPERIENCE
• 10 years+ experience in leading a large eCommerce team
• Experience driving campaigns and engagements that can directly or indirectly link to significant impact on conversion, with a proven focus on ROI.
• Expert in strategic and creative principles that will develop big, disruptive ideas deeply rooted in customer insights, derived from all consumer channels.
• Exceptional leadership skills, interpersonal skills, and relationship management skills. Ability to manage owned priorities while partnering in a large organization with several competing resource constraints. The ability to self-manage and manage others, across, up and down an organization.
