Company Description
The Position will be part of the Worldwide Distribution IT group (Group) focusing on the global community development, their business solutions, projects, teams, processes, and use of data. The Position will further forge the partnership with the NCSA and EMEA CTY Business Teams. The position will also sustain a close connection with the other Customer Management team members for continuity. In addition to those partnerships, the Position will work with a number of other groups to ensure the businesses’ connection to and accountabilities with the following global IT teams: Web Studios, BI, ERP, Marketing Analytics, PMO, UbiServices, Uplay PC and GNS as they deliver solutions for the business.
Reporting to the VP of Worldwide Distribution IT the Position will be responsible for continuous interaction with the global CTY groups and their affiliated businesses to identify points of collaboration and business consistency. The primary areas of focus for the Position will be to interact with the global CS teams, and to maintain awareness of the related business activities and solutions being supported and deployed by CS and CRM leaders in articulating more cohesive priorities and processes. In addition to being closely connected to the global CS business, the Position will need to maintain a deep partnership with the Sr. IT Business Data Architect to ensure data connectivity needs and use for the CTY organization.
In the CTY business area, the Position will collaborate with the global CTY teams and make recommendations for improving those implemented or to be implemented solutions and the required business resources and skills needed across the global groups to obtain the desired results. The Position will ensure that those needs are shared with their respective IT partners so that expectations are clearly set on what can be accomplished and when it will be completed. Along with the IT Business Data Architect, the Position will focus on data quality, consistency, and use across the CS business teams to enhance their effectiveness, mutualize KPIs, and reduce redundant activities.
Job Description
The primary focus of the role is to establish and/or define new cohesive business processes, technical solutions and data architectures to meet the needs of the global CTY businesses. Further, facilitate the business in defining and delivering all necessary vision, documentation, definition and operations on the use of the solutions.
The position will reflect the business needs through the CTY portfolio with the goal of aligning business teams’ priorities, taking into account priorities and goals while maintaining the CM vision.
• Working from the business needs to define project requirements by creating high-level business architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems and platforms as they enable the business teams.
• Improve business solution adoption by working with business teams on all phases and implementation timelines.
• Work with IT teams to improve and refine consistency between systems, allowing them to have a unified user experience.
• Continually work along with the IT teams to ensure the overall integrity of the software architecture and validate it against the business requirements.
• Represent business needs throughout the IT groups so that the end result is a more integrated internal and external products into a cohesive user experience.
• Produce recommendations and guidelines on how projects should be implemented at both the general infrastructure level as well as for specific projects and ensure that the solution meets the needs required by the business.
• Ensure the business SLAs are defined by the CTY business, and further ensure that the associated solutions are designed to meet the SLA.
• Ensure that the associated IT teams have corresponding SLAs to ensure delivery of the technical components to that SLA to meet business objectives.
• Ensure all the associated teams responsible for delivering the components of the operation have documented and tested all elements of the operations environment.
• Ensure that all the associated business teams have documented and tested the business aspects and are properly staffed to support the business need.
• Manage risk identification and risk mitigation strategies associated with the architecture, in order to define the right services to deliver the SLA to the business.
• Plan and recommend new technologies in collaboration with other IT teams, aligning business needs with the overall organization and market trends
• Identify and interact with business stakeholders to make sure their needs are being met, and facilitate post mortems and analysis on project deliverables.
• Work with and support the IT implementation teams directly in order to ensure that recommendations are being implemented in a timely manner.
Qualifications
• Must have a bachelor’s degree and 5 to 8 years’ progressive experience in project management.
• Must have 3-5 years’ experience in the CTY area. Current experience in video game plublishing is a plus.
• Must have 3-5 years’ experience in varying project delivery methods such as waterfall, lean, agile, or scrum. Current experience as a Product Owner is a plus.
• Superlative written and oral communications
• Excellent interpersonal skills a must, including presentation techniques, and meeting facilitation.
• Several years’ experience with business analysis and process design.
• Strong time-management skills and attention to detail; capable of tracking, managing, and resolving many issues efficiently.
• Proven ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proven ability to work with all members of a project team, including business leaders, technical leaders, developers, and system administrators.
• Proficiency with time tracking and collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, JIRA, SharePoint).
• Experience in change and risk management.
• Understanding of information technology foundations (e.g. networking, application architecture, hardware/infrastructure, authentication/authorization).
• Experience with selecting and implementing enterprise business applications.
• Experience working across organizational boundaries on a local and global basis preferred.
• Ability to speak French is a plus
