AEG Live, the live-entertainment division of Los Angeles-based AEG, is dedicated to all aspects of live contemporary music performance: touring, one-offs, sponsorship, festivals, and special events with seventeen+ regional offices and over thirty-seven-state-of the-art venues. AEG Live is also the largest producer of music festivals in North America from the critically acclaimed Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival to Stagecoach Country Music Festival and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
The Corporate Events Sales Manager's main priority is to sell space at The Mountain Winery. This person will be tasked with using the tools provided by the Director of Sales to create leads, sales, and revenues for The Mountain Winery with a focus on corporate events. The Corporate Events Sales Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales and must be able to effectively and efficiently communicate necessary information to the Sales Team and the General Manager.
Responsibilities:
-Reach budgeted revenue goals per quarter
-Maintain a working list of leads and sales targets
-Work with the Director of Sales to implement new sales tools and strategies
-Follow up with existing customers with a "thank you" campaign to generate repeat business
-Assist in client activation for larger rentals
-Qualify leads by prioritization
-Reply to all calls and general e-mail inquiries in a timely manner
-Gather preliminary information on potential clients
-Conduct site tours
-Effectively evaluate the validity of leads by research when necessary
-Conduct site walk-throughs with potential clients
Requirements Qualifications:
-A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year)
-Years of related work experience: 3-5
-Must be able to work within a team, but also be a self starter
-Employee must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong networking skills with a proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients
-Must be able to market the venues and drive new sales
-Must have a strong knowledge of special events
-The ability to forecast sales and budget accordingly
-Must be experienced sales professional that can prove a past of increasing revenue
