AEG Live, the live-entertainment division of Los Angeles-based AEG, is dedicated to all aspects of live contemporary music performance: touring, one-offs, sponsorship, festivals, and special events with seventeen+ regional offices and over thirty-seven-state-of the-art venues. AEG Live’s most recent tour roster includes The Rolling Stones, Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull, and Justin Bieber.
AEG Live is also the largest producer of music festivals in North America from the critically acclaimed Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival to Stagecoach Country Music Festival and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing digital strategies of AEG Live shows, festivals, venue advertisements and national tours. This position will create and maintain high level partnerships with digital companies and execute and monitor paid campaigns. Additionally, the Digital Marketing Manager will design, build and maintain social media presence and ensure that they are implementing current trends and promotions.
Essential Duties:
• Develop and roll out long-term digital marketing initiatives with assistance of marketing team. Create and manage digital cross-promotional opportunities and partnerships. Monitor & research trends, best practices and new opportunities in digital marketing relevant to the department to grow and optimize digital marketing efforts. Play key role in evaluating campaign effectiveness & driving performance improvements.
• Design, build and maintain social media presence, research current trends and apply current promotions. Run point for setting up account access with artists.
• Work with show marketers to customize and execute digital strategy on events. Create digital / social media plans for shows, determine media placement and allocate budget, review and choose appropriate demographics to target. Build email campaigns and segmented email lists based on demographics and customer purchase behaviors for combo and dedicated emails. Optimize performance through testing and creative copy.
• Buy ad space via the internet/aps (YouTube, Google, Yahoo, Pandora, Spotify, etc.) for shows, festivals, venue advertisements and tours.
• Collaborate with graphic designer(s) and web designer(s) for ad campaigns and the creation of digital assets.
• Monitor and research, best practices and new opportunities in digital marketing relevant to the department to grow and optimize digital marketing efforts. Play key role in evaluating campaign effectiveness and driving performance improvements.
• Collaborate with agencies and vendor partners like Ticketmaster and AXS on marketing opportunities for shows, emails, banners and promotions. Develop promotional, advertising partnerships with websites that can reach targeted demographics. Research new technological companies and local influencers and develop personal relationships with them.
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals KPIs and ROIs Manage Content Management System (CMS) which supports the management of content of web pages, DoubleClick by Google, etc.
• Work with show marketers to maintain marketing budget. Track all expenses coding invoices, ensuring approval and pay out vendors when applicable.
• Manage AEG Live RM / venue social properties. Work with marketing team and direct staff in; Social Media Calendar of posts and messaging, Content / asset creation, Contesting, Responding to consumers and clients, Run point on responding to consumers on social media through re-tweeting, sharing, commenting, likening, etc., Additionally find artist content to re-tweet and share in a timely fashion. list.
• May be responsible for other duties day of show including but not limited to overseeing house photographers, direct management of venue websites, live updates on social media day of show, escort media, coordinate meet and greets and guest list.

Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):
1. A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year)
Area of Study: Marketing, business, communications
2. Years of related work experience: 5 +
3. Computer savvy with knowledge of MS Office, Google AdWords, Rubicon, CMS
4. Experience working with strategic email, mobile and digital marketing programs
5. Knowledge of data analysis and budgeting.
6. Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
8. Exceptional written, verbal and listing communication skills with a can do attitude
9. Knowledge of programmatic media and real time bidding.
10. Must be detail orientated with a high standard for quality/
11. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and cultivate relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Advanced Excel skills
2. Knowledge of ROI (Return on Investment)
3. Passion for the music industry
